Overview

Basic Course (2 months)

This course is for 200 tax officials who are under 35 years old and have passed a screening test. Candidates need to have a definite term of work experience of 8 years or more for those employed through the Principal Class 3 Entrance Examination (Taxation) or 5 years or more for those employed through the National Tax Expert Service Examination.
* For officials employed through the National Tax Expert Service Examination on or before 2008, practical experience required for this course is 4 years.

Objectives

To enable trainees to acquire basic knowledge and skills concerning examinations of international transactions and other practical work of international taxation.

Curriculum

(1) Outline of the international tazation system.

(2) Examination of international transactions.

(3) Practical training in international transactions.


Advanced Course (4 months)

This course is offered to 100 tax officials selected from among those who have completed the Basic Course and others.

Objectives

To enable trainees to acquire advanced, specialist knowledge and skills concerning examinations of international transactions and other practical work of international taxation.

(1) International taxation theory.

(2) Examination of international transactions.

(3) Practical training in international transactions.

(4) International law
